TVEMA at the IAF 2017. Results and prospects

From May 30 to June 1, 2017, the world's largest exhibition of track machinery, track maintenance and construction of railways - IAF (Internationale Ausstellung Fahrwegtechnik) was held for the 27th time in the «student capital» of the Federal Republic of Germany.

This show is held every four years, since 1956, and has proved to be an effective platform for concluding major transactions between world producers and consumers of railway technologies and technology, including in the field of control and technical diagnostics. The current forum «IAF 2017» gathered more than 250 companies from 80 countries. Within three days on the total exhibition area of more than 20 thousand square meters in halls and on open areas, the participants represented their latest developments to potential customers and guests of the exhibition.

JSC «Firma TVEMA» took part in the IAF for the second time and demonstrated a wide range of its products. This year, the company's stand, which was executed in a traditional branded color, presented the latest systems for high-speed diagnostics of the railway infrastructure - ultrasonic and eddy current flaw detection, track geometry measurement systems and video control of track's upper structure.

Traditionally, the portable ECHO-PULSE flaw detector and its modifications, which is the tool most demanded by Russian railroad workers, was presented. During three days of the forum TVEMA's delegation held dozens of business negotiations with partners and counterparties from different countries. Prospects for further joint cooperation were discussed, in particular, at meetings with representatives of the railways of Russia, China, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, India, Spain, Israel, Hungary, Kazakhstan, the world's largest manufacturers of diagnostic equipment - Plasser & Theurer, Moser and others. Successful was the meeting of company's management with partners from the corporation «HARSCO», representing our products in the markets of the USA, South America and Australia.

The results of the work at IAF 2017 allow the company to hope that its innovative developments will find potential customers in Russia and abroad and will transform into mutually beneficial contracts, as it was during previous shows with TVEMA's participation.
