TVEMA AT IRAN RAIL EXPO 2018. Results and prospects

Between 19th and 22nd of June 2018 in Iran’s capital city of Teheran for the sixth time the largest Asian exhibition of railway transport took place – IRAN RAIL EXPO. 

The fair have greeted 160 Iranian and 130 foreign companies from 19 countries. Over the 4 days on the exposition covering over 11000 square meters in 13 pavilions and in the open air they presented their latest developments to potential customers and exhibition visitors.

It was the first time AO “Firma TVEMA” took part in this international forum. Along with five other Russian companies (Transmashholding, Wagonmashdetal, United Car Company, Novozybkovsk Machine Works and RM Rail) we were present at the Russian exposition organized by Russian Export Center.

At our company’s stand made in our traditional company colors we presented our latest systems for high-speed diagnostics of railway and metro infrastructure – ultrasonic and eddy current NDT, rail geometry parameters inspection and video inspection of track structure.

Over the four days of the forum TVEMA delegates took part in dozens of business meetings and negotiations with partners from Asia region. Prospects of further cooperation were discussed in particular with representatives of state companies Railways of the Islamic republic jf Iran-RAI, Tehran Urban&Suburban Railway Operation Co, private companies like BRACE Concrete Industries Co,  TADBIRGARAN Consulting Engineers, PERMAYON and others. We also had fruitful meetings with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Islamic Republic of Iran Levan Dzhagaryan and leader of the Group for development and investment of Iran Railways company Mr. Harazi.

TVEMA directors consider that participation of Russian companies in IRAN RAIL EXPO 2018 fair is an important channel of promotion of state-of-the-art Russian technologies to the railway markets of Iran and neighboring countries. We hope that TVEMA developments shown during this forum will find their customers in Asian region and company will get beneficial contracts.
