TVEMA in Scandinavia. «ELMIA NORDIC RAIL 2019» - Outcomes and prospects
13th Elmia Nordic Rail international railway transport fair – the largest one in Scandinavia - took place between 8th and 10th of October 2019 in Jönköping, Sweden. Over 280 exponents from 22 countries demonstrated their products at it.
It was the first time that AO “Firma TVEMA” took part in this fair and we became the only company representing Russia this year.
At our stand with traditional company color scheme we displayed almost the whole range of portable diagnostic and measurement tools – from the ones already well known in Russia and Europe to the brand new solutions. Those included manual diagnostic solutions PT-12M, PT-12-001, new generation NDT tools SPRUT-2, SKAT-2 and SOM. Traditionally we displayed a popular among railway teams portable NDT tool Echo-Pulse and its’ modifications. Operability of our devices was shown on railway track segment with artificial defects.
Operation of the newest systems for high-speed diagnostics of railway and subway infrastructure was displayed at a diagnostic vehicle operator’s workplace and on the model of railway inspection railcar for 1435 mm gauge. Over the course of three days of fair, TVEMA delegation had over a dozen of business meetings and negotiations with foreign partners. Prospects of further cooperation were discussed in particular with representatives of companies from Denmark (Aarsleff Rail A/S and Banedanmark), Sweden, Finland, France (TSO), Baltic states (OU MaksMi), USA (Harsco), Croatia and others. Meeting with expert of trade office of Russian Federation in Sweden Alexey Panteleev in which we discussed aspects of cooperation with Scandinavian partners turned out to be especially fruitful.
TVEMA company management considers participation of Russian manufacturers in fairs like Elmia Nordic Rail to be an important channel of promotion of state-of-the-art Russian technologies to foreign railway markets and particularly markets of Scandinavian region. We hope that products displayed here will find their customers in the region.
