The Evolution of Rail Flaw Detection Systems

JSC "Firma TVEMA" has been a pioneer in developing advanced rail flaw detection systems, with a focus on non-destructive testing (NDT) technologies. Over the years, the company has introduced several groundbreaking innovations, such as the transition from friction-sliding to friction-rolling systems in the early 2000s.

This shift significantly reduced mechanical wear and improved the stability of acoustic contact during inspections. The introduction of contactless magnetic centering systems in 2010 further enhanced alignment accuracy, eliminating the need for physical contact with the rails.

These advancements laid the foundation for the development of the ECHO-COMPLEX series, which has set new standards in ultrasonic flaw detection with its expanded dynamic range and sensitivity. Today, JSC "Firma TVEMA" continues to push the boundaries of rail inspection technology, ensuring safer and more reliable railway operations worldwide.
